Storage
Storage Our storage facility, named The Water Man Check-in Center, allows homeless residents to safely store their belongings off the street. The Center has cleaned up of Downtown San Diego. The San Diego Downtown Partnership has applauded our efforts in reducing and eliminating the piles of belongings on the sidewalks. The Center has been an important "missing link" in helping many homeless people get off the streets and re-enter productive society. Where other programs focus on "rehabilitation," we simply provide the means where those who are able can help themselves.
Sanitation
The Isaiah Project funds portable sanitation units on public sidewalks as a convenience to the general public. This program alleviates the burden for local businesses to host individuals that do not generate revenue. It also manages human waste that would normally be relieved on city sidewalks and streets.
Bottled Water Distribution
The Isaiah Project has teamed up with Feeding America, San Diego to distribute bottled water to the homeless on the streets.
